OK, I Guess I'm Ready

Alright, vacation is over, Maine was great as usual and being with my family is the best, doesn't matter where the vacation is. It's nice to live in another world for a time, doing different things, relaxing. The problem is, it's becoming more difficult to come back to the real world. You keep thinking, is there a way to combine both worlds?

However, since I haven't found a solution to that question, it's back to the thick of high school sports and once I get going, you just think about that other world. Teams are starting to practice and scrimmages are set. The Road to the Championships will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 14 when Seymour takes on O'Brien Tech(playing their first ever Varsity game).

I'll begin WELI broadcasts on Thursday, Sept. 15 when Sheehan travels to Milford to take on Jonathan Law and continue on Friday when so many teams start thier season. I will have 2 games in Week 1 and 2 games in Week 4.

There will be a game between Week 10 and Thanksgiving(used to take that week off, but not the last couple of years) and of course our Thanksgiving Eve Extravaganza and Thanksgiving Spectacular leading to the expanded playoffs.

I'll cover the Quarterfinals on Tuesday, 2 Semifinals on Saturday and the 4 Championships the following Friday and Saturday all adding up to another great season of High School Football.

The countdown begins  -   it's time to start getting PUMPED UP!
