NEW YORK -- Yankees legend Don Mattingly, now the manager of the Dodgers, held a news conference at Yankee Stadium prior to Tuesday night's rainout.
Here are a few highlights:
• This is Mattingly's first trip back to the Bronx as a manager. He has skippered the Dodgers since 2011, but the team hasn't played at Yankee Stadium since the 1981 World Series.
"Obviously good to come back. Always really enjoy coming back into the city," Mattingly said. "And honestly when you fly in, if it’s going to Citi Field, obviously [it's] not the same as coming here.

Investigators searched New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez's North Attleboro, Mass., home Tuesday in connection with the death of a man who police said was an associate of Hernandez, ABC News reported.
ABC News reports that Massachusetts investigators plan to interview Hernandez about the death.
During the search that lasted hours, two friends of Hernandez who were in the house tried to leave but were stopped by state police at the end of the driveway. Crime scene investigators later searched the car the men attempted to leave in, according to the report.

The Los Angeles Clippers informed the Boston Celtics on Tuesday morning they are pulling out of talks to acquire Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers, sources told ESPN.com.
The teams have no plans to speak again, the sources said, and the Clippers are preparing to move on and hire a coach this week.
Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge, meanwhile, confirmed to The Boston Globe that the talks between the teams had ended.
